Qualey Granite & Quartz is committed
to decreasing our impact on the environment.

When we moved to 1506 State Street in Veazie we completely revamped nearly every aspect of the building. We installed over $10,000 in energy efficient lightbulbs and a water recapturing system to recycle over 90% of the water we use. We heavily insulated the showroom and shop to keep temperatures regulated with less oil and no need for air conditioning. We do all of our countertop fabrication in a completely wet shop, preventing any dangerous silica dust from getting into the air.

We’re proud to offer earth-friendly product lines like eco by Cosentino which contains over 75% post- consumer recycled content. Silestone, CaesarStone, and Zodiaq quartz surfaces are all produced using extremely stringent environmental protocols. We’ll soon be carrying a line of new LEED certified Maine granites for a wide range of local selections. We also offer sustainable hardwood choices like Lyptus and Bamboo.
