Qualey Granite & Quartz combines the latest technology with the personal attention of trained
experts to produce countertops of unmatched beauty and quality.
Our templating is primarily done digitally using our Proliner system. This machine takes 3-dimensional
measurements quickly and precisely allowing our templater to review every facet of your design with you
right in your kitchen. Digital templating saves time and money by eliminating the material cost of wooden templates.

The information from the Proliner is transmitted to our SlabSmith software which lets you see how your kitchen will lay
out on the slabs you have chosen before we make a single cut. The SlabSmith system allows us to identify the best
layout for seam matching and automatically cuts around any imperfections in the slabs.
When our technicians have determined the best placement for your kitchen, the information is transmitted by barcode to our
Northwood SawJet. This amazing machine is capable of precision cutting through just about any material—from stone, to metal,
to glass, and more using a high-powered stream of water and garnets. The SawJet allows us to use common-line cutting
technology, virtually eliminating waste and lower costs.
Next the pieces go to our Brembana CNC machine for the final phase of processing. The CNC can quickly polish a variety of
edges and create unique features like integrated drain boards.
After the pieces are completed by the CNC, they go through an extensive quality-control process to see whether any final
handwork is required. No piece leaves our shop without a sign-off by our highly experienced shop foreman.

For Qualey Granite & Quartz the most important step in the fabrication process is the installation. No matter how beautiful
the countertop pieces are, if they are not installed with absolute precision your kitchen will look rushed and amateurish.
Our installers take several hours to ensure that all pieces are as straight and level as the constraints of the room allow.
Our seams are the tightest in the industry and can be close to invisible in a regular-patterned stone.
